Despite choosing one of the wettest days of the month Bradford-on-Avon Lions Club attracted over 100 runners for their 2K Run, Walk, Toddle or Push and their 5K Race on Sunday.
The runners ranged in age from 3 years to over 70.  Despite the pretty awful conditions everybody was determined just to get on with it and have a great time. All of the children enjoyed receiving their medals and unpacking their goody bags.
There were some pretty impressive timings with fastest male in the 5K, Mark Hughes coming in at 18.30 minutes! Fastest female was Amanda Bocker at 24.32 minutes. In second place were Simon Foxwell and Johanna Spencer while third places were taken by Gary Hughes and Nicola Thomas.
In the 2K, first place in the under 12’s was won by Maisie Leith-Darling despite being only 7 years old! Fastest boy was Bertie Ponsford. In second place were Jake Bigg and Tess Bentson and third, Imogen Smart and Sidney Lovell.
